1 Technical Tasks:
-Development of innovative LED and laser headlamps by working in an interdisciplinary project team within predevelopment- and serial projects.
-Support other Lead Optical Engineers as a senior for a specific customer group (Reviews, technical. Support)
-Further development of internal standards and methods.
-Optical simulation and calculations with state-of-the-art software.
-Technical/professional customer support for all lighting-related topics in the project.
-Coordination of the responsible optical engineers of all light functions in the headlamp.
-Validation of the development using prototypes.
-Participation in test drives and important meetings at our customers’ sites.
-Support for industrialization topics through to the finished product.
-Responsibility for the fulfillment of all lighting correlated requirements.

2 Qualifications
-Completed technical/scientific studies such as physics, mathematics, electrical engineering with several years of relevant professional experience (automotive lighting technology)
-Be interested in the development of optical systems and technologies for innovative headlamp systems.
-Working in a team-oriented product- and pre-development setup is as much fun for you as working with state-of-the-art simulation programs.
-You have a strong customer orientation and like to communicate in English as well.
-You appreciate the mix of simulation work/customer contact and practical work on the product.
