Primary Responsibilities
As an Lead Manufacturing Engineer,
1.You will be responsible for the stability , efficiency and quality of all manufacturing processes by the implementation of new processes ,Automation projects and the optimization of process/equipments of mass production based on the exsiting pain ponits and the strategy of the company.
2.You will be the main contact of the Manufacturing Engineering to global plants , R&D etc to drive new product introduction , DFM , best practices and problem solving and so on.
● Work with design engineering to identify and escalate manufacturing challenges by enforcing DFM.
● Investigate and introduce new manufacturing technology and methodology to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
● Develop manufacturing process , including defining process parameters, fixture requirements, critical dimensions on parts and critical requirements in assembly.
● Drive all factory-related operational issues related to assembly processes during pre-production builds; ensure effective closure to enable operational success of the new product introduction cycle, and put products into mass production.
● Identify and develop assembly jig and fixture for new products.
● Work within Operations, R&D departments to implement and optimize manufacturing 1st pass yields and efficiency from prototype through product ramp-up.
● Strong capability of data analytics e.g the interaction analysis among several influential parameters.
● Support cost reduction and sustaining activities.
● The driver of digitialztion in the plant including MES specificaiton , manufacturing IT structure etc.
Basic Qualifications:
● BS in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
● 10+ years of experience in manufacturing field , sensor assembly is preferred.
● Experience in mechanical assembly, including Tolerance Analysis and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
● Experience in mechanical metrology including OMM/CMM, Displacement Lasers, Accelerometers, Confocal Microscopy, and other inspection equipment.
● Experience in process characterization and validation using statistical tools such as SPC, GR&R, Cp/Cpk, Design of Experiments.
● Experience with design for manufacturability, design for automation, and creating process documentation.
● Experience with assembly jig and fixture design.
● Experience working with International enviromental.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering or materials related.
● Good understanding of manufacturing strategy and DFM best practices.
● Experienced with CAD, Pro-E.
● Experience with Statistical Analysis Software, Minitab, Q-Das, etc.
● Experience in sensor assemly process is a plus.
● Mechanically inclined, strong problem-solving skills, hands-on individual.
● Good oral and written communication skills with English.
