Main Responsibilities:
1. Drive HBK’s strategy and grow our market **ition within electric power testing
2. Analyze customer needs and initiatives to determine value and customer’s return on investment **ition
3. Develop awareness with mid and senior customer management to pursue opportunities for growth and new business development
4. Develop and manage networks, relationships, and communications relevant to electric power test
5. Contribute to market and competitive information gathering, in alignment with product management strategy
6. Contribute to roadmap development, value pro**ition and NPI launches
7. Create and implement business development plans for the region, Act regionally but coordinate globally
8. Manage and/or support strategic & consultative EPT sales opportunities
9. Coordinate with local and global teams, including sales, marketing, support, service, and management resources to meet objectives and customer/prospect expectations
10. Support other teams to maximize strategic outbound activity, develop pipeline and maximize sales
11. Utilize and document sales development and prospection within the CRM
12. Generate, maintain and report a credible forecast for strategic business within the territory
Professional qualifications:
1. Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering degree with application, domain or industry experience
2. Have minimum 5 years of documented experience in developing sales in technology or engineering businesses
3.Experience with electrical power, motors and inverters
4. High aptitude in determining customer needs and demonstrating the value of high end engineering and technology solutions
Personal skills:
1. Fluency in Mandarin and English, good communication skills, both verbal and written ;
2. Practical experience working within an international business, particularly in China, Japan and Korea and value selling methodologies such as Miller Heiman
3. Highly developed commercial awareness and ability to value sell to customer management; Highly developed and diversified communication skills and techniques
4. Understanding of engineering and test processes
5. Ideally a good working knowledge of Japanese and Korea business culture
6. Some knowledge of electrical test ideally
7. High standard of professional integrity
8. Ability to establish clear goals , focus on objectives and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
9. Willingness to spend more time with customers than in the office
