This **ition is aimed at improving operational excellence and safety performance of Lubrizol’s network of third-party manufacturers (3PM). The successful candidate is a facilitator who aligns both an internal/external view of operations to ensure our 3PM’s provide reliable/quality supply and reduce risk for Lubrizol across a wide variety of business models and product lines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Research, organize, participate in, document, and follow up on HSES and quality assessments at third parties in region.
•Develop a network and a process to identify safety, quality, environmental, and security incidences at third parties in a timely manner. Investigate, collaborate with LZ colleagues and mitigate/escalate as appropriate to address and/or assess the impact to LZ.
•Identify, assist with investigation of, monitor and document, as applicable, quality of service, quality of product complaints and Supplier Corrective Action Requests related to third parties. Communicate with key stakeholders in Operations, Procurement, and the business as appropriate.
•Organize and perform quality audits of 3PM’s based on in region standards.
•Action key performance indicator (KPI) data for the 3PM team as appropriate. Contribute to annual determination of KPI’s for the following year.
•In region resource to support 3PM Procurement for supplier reviews.
•Support the risk management matrix decision process, review, and ranking for 3PM’s.
•Develop, deploy and support strong processes for managing safety, quality, production, and operating performance at Lubrizol’s third-party manufacturing companies.
•Special projects as assigned.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plant experience.
•Minimum 8 years of chemical manufacturing experience including experience with HSES assessments
•Work in a matrix organization and develop a network to carry out job requirements. This **ition will interface with third party suppliers and business partners on a regular basis.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through is essential. Flexibility and the ability to multi-task are critical.
•Must **sess professionalism and strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Demonstrated proficiency in SAP and MS office tools.
