ROLE:
The Area Sales Manager – Eastern China will be accountable for the continued growth and development of Lubrizol’s life science - Beauty and Home Care business within Eastern China. Based in Shanghai, this role is accountable to accomplish Eastern China business objectives through achieving sales target, delivering clear customer value pro**ition, and establishing a robust project pipeline for future growth. This role will work closely with the APAC regional partners across different functions to further develop and execute the growth strategy and drive profitability in Eastern China. This role will provide leadership to the Eastern China local sales team and distribution partner to ensure available resources are utilized for maximum profitability and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Accountable for growing revenue and profitability for LLS- Beauty and Home within Eastern China
• Define and implement growth strategy in Eastern China to be consistent with the regional and global strategy, adapt to the local specific requirements and customer needs to deliver the desired results.
• Oversee local sales team, distributor, and key customer relationships, build strong intimacy with key customers, **ition Lubrizol become a go-to partner in the beauty and home care markets.
• Keep up with market and consumer trends, identifying new opportunities and new market concepts.
• Lead the local sales team, set right goals and KPIs vs targets, develop and strengthen organization capabilities and skillsets, build, and maintain a high-performing, motivated and passionate team.
• Lead the local sales team to develop a strong pipeline of opportunities via the CRM system to ensure short term and long-term growth.
• Lead the local sales team in the preparation, organization, presentation and follow up of customer seminars, distributor training sessions, webinars and exhibitions etc.
• Develop and prepare sales tools suited to the local market in collaboration with the Technical service and Marketing team
• Articulate and foster accountable culture and company core values within the Eastern China team, lead by example by storytelling, issuing recognition cards and encouraging others to do the same.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Degree in Business or Chemistry, or comparable education in related sciences.
• Knowledge in personal and home care ingredient industry. Ideally over 5 years’ experience in this sector, well connected to reputed in the personal and skin care market.
• A strong track record in manage and lead a team with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a high performing, motivated and competent team.
• Fluent English
• Demonstrate a go-get attitude, willingness to learn new skills, and be open to adapt to an ever-changing market.
• Willing to travel within the territory and occasionally internationally.
