职位描述

JOB OBJECTIVES/岗位设立目的:

Supplier quality engineer has the responsibility to qualify capable supplier, continue developing/improving supplier capability, develop/qualify new components launch and effectively resolve supplier quality issues.

JOB SCOPE/岗位责任范围:
Utilize Marquardt process and assess & audit new suppliers. Identify and follow up supplier corrective actions, and ensure all improvements are sufficient.
Early involve and support supplier development for new projects, approve supplier prototype samples and ensure all technical requirements are completely met.
Conduct periodic supplier audit and drive supplier continuous improvement.
Quickly and effectively resolve supplier quality excursion.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/主要职责:
1.Using Marquardt standard process, conduct supplier audit. Ensure supplier audit report is in place on time. Work with suppler for corrective action and ensure they are documented and closed after verification.
2.Early involve supplier development for new project, responsible for monitoring and controlling supplier, ensure supplier readiness for new project, including technical requirement of component is completely understood by supplier, supplier control plan, SPC, FMEA are in place. Support supplier whenever there is a need.
3.Through PPAP process, approve supplier’s prototype sample, ensure all technical requirements are completely met. For any nonconformance, responsible for supplier improvement and ensure improvement is sufficient.
4.Responsible releasing PPAP (LEMPB) document in PLM, once part is approved.
5.Collect supplier performance data and ensure feedback is provided to supplier furthermore supplier corrective/improvement action is in place and sufficient.
6.Conduct periodic supplier audit and ensure supplier corrective/improvement action is in place and sufficient.
7.Whenever there is supplier quality issue/excursion escalated, work with supplier and internal teams, through 8D process, quickly and effectively identify root cause and drive for resolution.
8.Verify effectiveness of supplier corrective action and ensure same issue does not reoccur.
9.Coordinate with other departments, and make appropriate decision (waive, sorting, reworking, reject) for nonconforming material.
10.For supplier quality excursion, properly communicate with supplier and ensure appropriate decision is made for supplier financial obligation (sorting/rework cost, scrap cost, etc.).

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS (MUST H**E)/基本岗位任职条件:
1.University degree prefer in electronics engineering.
2.Minimum 6 years’ supplier quality/development working experience in manufacturing company.
3.Be familiar with PPAP, APQP, SPC, FMEA, control plan, MSA, 8D process.
4.Be familiar with display screen and wire harness. If experience of wireharness & connector is available, it will be a plus.
5.Sufficient in Microsoft office tool
6.Be able to travel 50% of all working time.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO H**E)/优先考虑条件:
1.Experience in Automotive industry will be a plus.
2.Experience in SAP system.
3.Capable providing design optimization feedback to R&D team and takeing lead for supplier quality resolution.
4.Global responsibilities (i.e. managing global projects or global supplier) will be a plus
