Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Hangzhou, ZJ, CN, 311231

Your tasks:
1. Drive and coordinate continuous quality improvement for the supplier within his/her responsibility scope, together with other teams within Purchasing organization.
2. On-site audit and check at supplier side, in order to spot weakness, room for improvement in supplier’s technical know-how, production process, and management process, etc.
3. Push and support supplier not only improve specific issues, but also overall process management and daily shopfloor management, by applying systematical improvement toolsets in PDCA manner.
4. Support Purchasing team to work with supplier to identify Q topics at early stage, incl. but not limited to critical characteristics, surface/visual criteria (color, rust, dent/scratches, ...), package and identification, etc.
5. Coordinate internally and with supplier to deliver in-depth 8D report for quality problems related to parts delivered by supplier. Assess supplier 8D quality, ensure timely 8D delivery.
6. Support SQE team leader to conduct necessary data analysis for supply parts quality, in order to have clear understanding about the actual quality status, to focus on topics and suppliers with right prioritization, to drive required improvement measures, and to inform related people among the stake holders within ZF organization.

Your profile:
1. solid analytical problem-solving skills and mindset.
2. 5+ years working in quality or supplier quality.
3. two or more specialized area with in-depth knowledge about material, manufacturing process, e.g. metal/plastic/powder metallurgy,..., die casting/ forging/ welding/ molding/ machining/ ...
4. major or professional experience in mechanics/material, fluent English communication in both verbal and writing.
5. a team player with logic, precise and specific communication capability.
