Your Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead Asia Metal Commodity Purchasing team.
- Drive Production Material performance improvement for Asia by
1. Manage Supplier Panel
2. Develop Material Purchasing strategies
3. Annual supplier negotiation to achieve saving target
4. New project launch
5. Supply Chain Risk management
6. Contract Management
7. Supplier transfer to low cost countries
- Continuous improvement projects
- Responsibility for training and personal development of staff
- Monitor supplier capabilities and market trends
- Support global project execution in Asia
- Establish purchasing team internal working process and achieve annual audit from internal / third party
- Other ad hoc duties

Your Skills & Strengths
- At least 8 years purchasing experience in Automotive industry TIER1, with more than 3 years commodity management experience, team management experience is a must
- Strong problem solving and change management capability by utilizing automotive industry tools
- Good English proficiency
- Profound product and detailed knowledge of metal commodity portfolio
- Awareness of the company business / corporate strategy and well understanding of the appropriateness of different purchasing, project management, production requirement
