1. General Management
A) Manage short- and long-term goals for the organization
B) Enable and support exchange and collaboration among team members and interfacing functions
C) Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation with all interfacing parties (customers, suppliers, employees and partners)
2. Employee development
A) Evaluate, select and develop the right people in the organization
B) Provide direction and manage team, mentor and maintain competent, motivated employees
C) Lead by living the MAHLE Group Leadership Principles
3. Processes, Governance and Compliance
A) Define, manage and implement business process within operational area in line with the Excellence Organization.
B) Responsible for implementing Develop Portfolio, Source Products & Manage Product Lifecycle globally within product group
C) Deploy methods and tools for sales excellence and customer relations
D) Adhere to organization’s policies, compliance regulations and applicable laws
E) Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance to processes and regulations within area of responsibility
4. Cross-Functional Activities
A) Align within and across the region and conduct know-how transfer
B) Actively support job rotation in alignment with regional and functional directors
C) Conduct external benchmarking and participate in external industry associations
D) Drive market intelligence activities regarding market and customer trends, development, legal and political influences as well as competitors’ activities
E) Drive and enable change from “sales driven” mind-set to “profitable growth” mind-set and from single product sales to solution provider
F) Strive for continuous improvement by developing business opportunities to enhance revenue generation and increase operational efficiency
5. Strategy and Management
A) Accountable for developing and implementing the global product group strategy to increase the profitability of the Parts Business.
B) Develop the global product group strategy rooted in data and market intelligence, aligned on a global level with other product groups.
C) Collaborate with and motivate other heads on the implementation of MAHLE’s, and more specifically, the Aftermarket’s strategic and operational plans.
D) Maintain and continually develop a competitive and profitable product portfolio that integrates new products, addressing global trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
E) Leverage synergies between parts business and service solutions to enable cross-selling.
F) Align all Go-to-Source functions with the other product groups globally including product management, purchasing, product cost and margin management, product marketing and engineering, if applicable.
G) Supplier Management and Purchasing
H) Accountable for supplier portfolio management and achieving global synergies through bundling volumes.
I) Accountable for supplier selection and development.
J) Responsible for make or buy decisions based on full value chain analysis
6. Quality Management
A) Accountable for product quality and responsible for ensuring that the OE reputation of MAHLE is reflected in the product group.
B) Responsible for supplier quality together in alignment with supplier portfolio management
7. Controlling
A) Accountable for product controlling and for ensuring cost transparency for product lines and portfolio profitability as well as full value chain contribution
B) Align with global controlling to provide services across the product groups on global level
C) Accountable for SG&A as cost center responsible with cost allocation to the regions based on target alignment with Global Aftermarket, Global Product Groups and Aftermarket Regions
Your Roles & Responsibilities
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in business or technical field
• 3+ years of experience in eMobility industry, a deep understanding and rich experience/ knowledge of eMobility related market including supply chain, distributors, customers etc.
• 8+ years of experience in business development, project management, strategy, purchasing or related field, experience with Aftermarket business is prefered
• Profound negotiation skills, analytical & strategic thinking skill
• Strong problem solving and change management capability by utilizing automotive industry tools
• Team Player and problem solver
• Presentation, communication and networking skills
• Intercultural awareness
• Good English proficiency
