Responsibilities
1.Build and constantly update cost models for Display as full product, considering components and their production systems, alternatives of make or buy (components vs. modules). Cost model will include not only components’ direct cost, but also the other sources as yield, scraps, package, logistic, Supplier’s handling and profit.
2.Generate cost models variants according to Displays’ configuration and contents (e.g. OLED, …)
3.Build Data Base on product architecture, contents, productions processes and cost data and transfer them into cost simulation tool (e.g. TcPCM, …).
4.Participate in the new projects’ Offer acquisition to support Product Manager to define target costs according to bottom-up approach based on ELS existing product lines costs and on review of the assumptions at the base of the RfQ.
5.Cooperate with Engineering to optimize the cost suggesting alternatives.
6.Estimate Display cost according to its contents and production processes and regularly update them as the project evolve (change request).
7.Estimate product cost alternatives considering different degree of verticalization and production footprints
8.Participate to Cost Optimization (Design to Cost) and VA/VE workshops to pro**e and estimate cost down pro**als.
9.Cooperate with Purchase to negotiate with Suppliers providing a Marelli Display and TFT cost estimation and evaluating Supplier cost break down offer.
10.Cooperate with Supplier to optimize the production costs reviewing and discussing the production process pro**ed.
11.Cooperate with Display Commodity leader to develop the Supply Strategy considering market Intelligence.
12.Assure the projects’ cross fertilization from developed actions and consolidate knowledge in form of lesson learned.
13.Cooperate with Engineering HW and Optical team to identify and to apply new technologies and/or new materials.
14.Cooperate with Manufacturing team to define the make/factory in factory/buy strategy based on cost estimation.

Qualifications
1.Technical diploma or Bachelor degree in Electronics, or Optics Engineering
2.Previous work experience (minimum 5 years) in Displays and TFT design or production and industrialization
3.Knowledge in Display and TFT components costs
4.Knowledge on Displays and TFT optics and HW architecture and their application in automotive electro-mechanical assemblies
5.Knowledge on Display and TFT alternative technologies and evolutions
