Main Responsibilities:
1.Develop and maintain robust customer relationships through the effective management and co-ordination of all commercial activities with delegated customer accounts.
2. Provide clear and prompt pricing, sales and forecasted volume data to support the preparation of both China and regional budgets.
3. Provide accurate monthly sales report and make comparison with frozen sales plan;
4. Assist in the generation and the active update of the Live Medium Term Plan (MTP) with the business development team.
5. As an owner of customers, do well master and know every aspect of customers, and make excellent business development strategy on specific customers;
6. Determine potential new business opportunities both within the current customer base as well as promoting additional MTP growth by identifying new initiatives in line with regional financial requirements.
7. Cost model generation for new products in conjunction with the relevant screening documentation to justify potential new business cases in terms of both strategic and financial returns for the region.
8. Regular customer reviews on pricing, performance and overall satisfaction to ensure alignment between specific customer needs and the internal business requirements of TI Fluid Systems.
9. Preparation of a detailed monthly activity report in accordance with company guideline.
10. Prepare and develop product contribution analysis with the manufacturing plants in order to drive contribution improvements.
11. Lead comprehensive customer quotations and the effective co-ordination of all local and functional management support to ensure complete transparency on quotation development.
12. Develop a close link with Functional Engineering and Program management groups to ensure alignment of both product/manufacturing strategies with customer expectations.
13. Provide specific customer intelligence and feedback to regional functional groups.
14. Support local and regional teams on all major customer specifics and communication, representing TI Fluid Systems in terms of key customer contact on all business related activities.
15. Work close with regional and global commercial team, efficient communication is a must.
16.Recruit, cultivate and lead the specific sales team to conform to company’s global strategy and values.
17. Other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Qualification:
1.Degree in general business, marketing or engineering.
2.International MBA preferable but not essential.
3.Minimum 3 years experience in similar commercial role ideally with Tier 1 supplier.
4.Proven and successful track record working in a similar role within the automotive industry ideally with direct experience with OEM customers regarding commercial issues.
5.Fluency in speaking, understanding, writing and reading both in Chinese and English. Fluency in Japanese is preferred.
6.Strong skills on presentation.
7.Knowledge of automotive fuel systems and thermal systems would beadvantageous.
8.Good interpersonal skills and ability to work across a number of disciplines in aprofessional and effective manner.
9. Strong commercial acumen and ability to be persuasive in a marketing and “selling” sense.
10.Ideally, experience in working effectively with a “Western” multi-national organization.
11.Ability to work in a structured way in a frequently pressurized environment.
12.High degree of self-motivation.
13.Ability and willingness to travel both within China and across regions
