Your Roles&Responsibilies

1. Drive performance improvement of defined Commodity in Asia

2. Lead Purchasing activities in defined commodity together with Commodity Buyers in other Asia countries

3. Monitor supplier capabilities and market trends in Asia

4. Manage and align Supplier Panel with Global Commodity Buyer

5. Develop Material Purchasing strategies

6. Join supplier nomination of key projects

7. Conduct annual supplier negotiation to achieve saving target

8. Take Supply Chain Risk management

9. Follow Contract Management guideline

10. Promote supplier transfer to LCC

11. Support new project launch in Asia

12. Support escalations from other functions like Plant, Supplier Quality, Logistics , etc.

13. Other individual tasks from the superior

Your Skills&Strengths

1. Deep knowledge of sourcing

2. Working knowledge of Commodity spend

3. Working knowledge of business systems (SAP procurement modules,e-procurement,e-sourcing etc.)

4. Experience in complex negotiations

5. Experience of working in complex matrix organizations

6. ＞3 years Commodity buyer experience in metal

7. Strong problem solving capability by utilizing automotive industry tools

8. Change management

9. Deep understanding supply market.

10. Awareness of the company business / corporate strategy

11. Good understanding of the appropriateness of different purchasing, project management, production requirement.

12. Working experience with Purchasing/supplier in other Asia countries is a plus

13. Proficient English
