Position Overview:



The primary role of this **ition is to ensure a seamless and uninterrupted supply of materials to the assembly process. This involves planning, ordering, controlling, and coordinating production-related materials.



Key Responsibilities:



Execute material planning and ordering via SAP, inclusive of MRP.

Negotiate and monitor supplier lead-times and freight to maintain inventory control.

Analyze MRP output to develop part purchasing schedules based on production requirements and associated activities.

Issue part purchasing schedules to suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.

Manage inventory, including parts scheduling, fill rates, and inventory levels, in alignment with plant objectives. This includes performing related reporting tasks.

Engage in customer communication regarding forecasts, investigations, ordering, and information distribution.

Expedite the initial production material into the plant in accordance with schedule parameters.

Collaborate with interfaces to enhance part planning methods and capacity utilization.

Improve inbound delivery performance, inventory turnover rates, and logistics costs.

Qualifications:



A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or professional experience.

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in supply chain or warehouse/material planning activities.

Experience in the automotive industry.

Proficiency in SAP-Materials Planning and Production Processing.

Familiarity with TS 16949-Premium Freight, Cycle Count, Material Planning.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in English.
