Position Overview：
1. The Software Functional Safety Engineer role is mainly responsible for functional safety related technical lead and development of software engineering processes in line with ASPICE and Functional Safety processes defined for Magna CMS/DMS/Lighting products.
2. This role is based in Shanghai Hongqiao, 5min walk to Rail Station, or Suzhou SIP 2.5 Park.

Job Responsibility：
1. Lead and guide software team to analyze and complete functional safety development and testing at the software level in line with system functional safety requirements.
2. Responsible for formulating the functional safety plan at the software level, defining the documentation list required in the development process.
3. Responsible for the formulation of software functional safety requirements, including underlying-layer safety requirements and application-layer safety requirements.
4. Responsible for software safety architecture design and software safety strategy definition.
5. Responsible for software safety analysis (FMEA/FTA/DFA).
6. Responsible for software safety testing (software unit testing, software integration testing and embedded software testing, etc.).
7. Analyze and interpret the safety manuals of key chips and support the opening and discarding of corresponding safety mechanisms.
8. Support RFI/RFQ activities related to applicable customer programs from functional safety perspective.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree and above, majoring in computer science, electronics, software engineering, or equivalent
2. Familiar with ISO26262, IEC 61508, GB/T34590 functional safety standards.
3. Familiar with functional safety development process.
4. Familiar with ASPICE standards, and with practice on ASPICE project implementation will be a plus.
5. Familiar with MCU or SoC software development (incl. various toolchains, techniques, etc.).
6. Proficient in HAZOP, FMEA, FMEDA, FTA and other functional safety analysis methods and able to use them flexibly.
7. Good at C, C++ programing languages.
8. Minimum 8 years experiences in embedded software development and testing in automotive industry.
9. Minimum 3 years’ experience in functional safety or equivalent roles. And have functional safety implementation experience of at least 1 complete customer project.
10. Experience with EA architecture development tools or Medini, Isograph functional safety development tools.
11. Experience in AUTOSAR is a plus.
