Key Responsibilities
• Apply common supplier quality & development process/tools and systems (e.g. Supplier Performance Development Process (SPDP), PHINIA Problem Solver, Scorecard) to drive timely and effective resolution of supplier issues (including cost recoveries) and facilitate continuous improvement
• Support Flawless Launch activities within the plant and AQE to SQE part responsibility transition
• Function as liaison between supply management, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to resolve quality issues and provide technical support
• Adhere to PR/R Procedure issuance, completion guidelines and requirements for Problem Cases issued via Problem Solver
• Utilize structured problem solving tools and methodologies
• Participate in all applicable plant teams (e.g. Change Boards, Continuous Improvement)
• Perform supplier manufacturing capability assessments as appropriate; Develop action plan to close gaps
• Improve suppliers’ performance/manufacturing capabilities
Coach and mentor supplier lean implementation teams. Coach and guide supplier leadership in value stream


What we’re looking for
• 5 year+ SD/SQ work experiences, focus on mail OEMs or their tier suppliers）
• Familiar with ANPQP, QSB+, Formel Q and VDA; Certified VDA 6.3 auditor will be plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
• Manufacturing and relevant Category process expertise
• High-level analytical and problem solving abilities
• Required competency level knowledge as defined in SQ competency matrix, additional required technology/Category & enterprise-specific knowledge
• Strong supplier and internal relationships and willingness to work diligently to build and sustain
• Integrity, tenacity and demonstrated ability to address difficult issues and problems
• Demonstrated ability to consider both business requirements and technical needs to represent PHINIA and the supplier
• Strong facilitation, teaching, and coaching skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently. High degree of organizational and project management skills
