The IT Director for OE EMEA and AP is responsible for the effective oversight, and execution of NewCo OE regional IT strategy for applications and services. You will work with senior business leadership to ensure alignment between business and IT strategy. In addition, this role has responsibility for global PMO processes to ensure consistent execution delivery and reporting.
The **ition has responsibility for leading teams in both the EMEA and AP organizations. You will be a member of the Global IT Leadership Team and will be a direct report to the CIO.

Key responsibilities
1. Ensure alignment between NewCo business strategy and IT for EMEA and AP regions.
2. Lead BRM team supporting the OE Business Unit.
3. Maintain close alignment with the site Service Delivery Managers
4. Work with the business leads to develop 5-year application roadmap. Manage the roadmap as a living document to keep alignment between IT and the business
5. Provide leadership in identifying and developing high-value business opportunities where applications and data can be used to help NewCo gain insights, growth, and efficiency
6. Manage global Program Management Office, ensuring optimized processes and KPI’s for consistent execution / delivery of global programs across the business unit
7. Capitalize on identified synergies and work to identify new ones, to help meet or exceed the targets identified.
8. Continually stay on top of, evaluate, and assess the leading data technology platforms and processes to determine how to create the most flexible and lowest overhead environments and program execution.
9. Optimize and manage resources, software, hardware, and service provider support to optimize spend, license usage, and value achieved for per dollar spent.
10.Manage project appropriation requests, timelines, expenditures and resource plans for recommended projects.
11. Management regional IT organization, including staff development and succession planning
12. Making innovative and effective system and technology investment decisions, ensuring infrastructure projects are directly aligned with organizational goals
13. Establish and manage the global and regional IT budgets for respective areas of responsibility
14. Executive level communication and presentation

What we’re looking for
1. Bachelor or master’s degree in information technology or similar
2. 7 years+ extensive SAP manufacturing/automotive experience
3. Strong understanding of all IT disciplines and interdependencies
4. Strong leadership skills with intercultural teams
5. Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities.
6. Strong IT strategy and architectural experience
7. Ability to understand and implement new technologies and solutions in large organizations
8. Extensive experience in the field of IT service organizations (ITIL) and project delivery frameworks
9. Knowledge and experience with IT controls and governance.
10. People Skills - in hiring, training, developing, and retaining IT teams
11. Strong computer and data analytical skills.
