Key Responsibilities

In this **ition the new hire will have the opportunity to independently handle a comprehensive scope of corporate legal affairs elaborated under the followings,
• Taking the assignment of the supervisor, to act as a key business partner that performs and manages commercial legal counseling yet without excrescent day-to-day supervision from the supervisor.
• Responsible for supporting and advising the businesses, functions and various legal entities in the region for a comprehensive range of legal matters, i.e. drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts concerning sales, purchase, distribution, manufacturing, logistics services, etc. arising from the business activities in or relating to APAC region. The **ition will have a good chance to be involved in dealing with important customers, suppliers, and key major projects.
• To provide legal advice related to corporate, regulatory and policies, i.e. corporate governance, local license and certification requisitions, etc.
• To provide legal support to legal proceedings (through working with external counsels).
• To provide legal support in M&A transactions.
• To provide legal and compliance trainings.
• To provide support in compliance program implementation.
• To assist the supervisor to support the regional executive management and Corporate Legal regarding the attention to demand, inspection, verification visits, requirements, summons and notifications as well as on new developments in local legislations and the enforcement.
• Coordinate data integrity and develops data audits between HRIS systems.


What we’re looking for
• Positive, dynamic, enthusiastic, solid, and mature.
• Sufficient and appropriate law education and qualification. PR China bar admission is requisite.
• At least three (3) years legal and compliance practice experience in either a decent law firm (international or Chinese local) and/or MNC in-house legal department.
• Strong business acumen, always targeting to be a true and constructive business partner. Strong commercial legal background with a pragmatic mindset to achieve business objectives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent team player and relationship builder who is able to manage different stakeholders and communicate at all levels of the organization and work effectively as part of Corporate Legal team.
• Strong integrity and ethics, self-motivated and self-disciplined.
• At ease in working in diversified and multicultural environments.
• Able to act as a trusted advisor to business and functional managers, including senior executives.
• Excellent language command for legal practice in both English and Chinese Mandarin.
• Willingness and availability for business travel.
