Job Description:
Supplier Manufacturing Operations Analysts identifies the defects in manufacturing operations management models. They conduct analysis, investigate workflows, business procedures and organizational charts, report KPI and recommend changes. Supplier Manufacturing Operations Analysts work to improve a company’s productivity by means of KPI definition and its achievement, supported by a PDCA methodology oriented to manufacturing operations. They coordinate with every department, meet with managers assessing their work processes and evaluate KPI for each function. Where there are deficiencies, they suggest changes and prepare reports for executive and operations managers. Analysts are mathematically inclined, as they have to develop, generate, and review statistics, graphs, and numeric data. These analysts work to ensure that suppliers are following compliance standards and regulations.
As Supplier Industrialization role, they analyze and report the technical capacity installed at supplier sites, in terms of equipment, human resource structure and facilities, analyzing manufacturing process capabilities and independently to the commodity type. They crosscheck supplier industrial development being in line with the ongoing business and the potential business in the pipeline.
The main mission of the job is to diagnose a supplier industrial and operational health, identifying in advance risk situations that could compromise the Start Of Production maturity and minimizing the risk of no-quality and no-delivery for running production.
Responsibilities:
• Verifying technical capacity installed and planned at suppliers facilities.
• Verifying process performance, quality and availability ratios.
• Verifying internal Operations Management System.
• Automating OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and OLE (Overall Labor Effectiveness) reporting structures.
• Evaluating data and performing manufacturing statistical process analysis.
• Evaluating SOP (standard operating procedures). MTM analysis, bottle neck identification and line balancing.
• Communicating supplier operational status and achievements.
• Recommending and advancing future manufacturing process modifications and technological upgrades for new product developments and innovations.
• Recommending standard manufacturing process and industrial best practices.
Required Skills
• Aptitude for math and statistics (Six Sigma Black Belt desirable). Problem solving methodology and investigative skills.
• High knowledge on electronics manufacturing processes. Chemical and Metallic commodity manufacturing knowledge desirable.
• Database administration.
