Responsibility
• Leading ECU project from beginning to the serial production under consideration of Timing/-, Quality/- and Cost goals.
• Ensure the planned development effort/expenses are not exceeded (in cooperation with the respective line manager)
• Prevent overspending by applying change management to customer and internal changes
• Defining the scope of the project and creating of the general plan.
• Coordination of project & project team (internal and external), following the AL process.
• Interface to the customer management.
• Interface to plant(s) together with CPE.
• Internal/external clarification of customer requirements together with CPE.
• Leading the initiative process to release the project budget.
• Use of a OPL (Open Point List) and tracking of tasks.
• Executing FRC (Financial Risk Check) and cost tracking with TCTP/ PPC Tool (Target Cost Target Price / Perfect Pro Calc) .
• Organization and execution of regular team meetings.
• Organization and execution of gate-assessment (G0, G1,G2, …G7).
• Escalation management.
• Risk management.
• Leading the customer change management in cooperation with sales and CPE.
• Reporting with PIS Sheet as part of the PPCC Meetings & PMR.
• Interface to Marelli PMO.
• Keep agreed milestones and deliver results according to project plan
• Ensure compliance with development process
• Perform role specific configuration management activities (e.g.: maintain relevant items in CI List)
Authority
• Allocation and tracking of, prioritizing and redistributing work related to the project
• Convene team meetings
• Technical and schedule coordination with the customer
• Give binding commitments within the role description
• Suggest and implement improvements of engineering process
• Define performance targets for the activities related to the supervised area
• Planning, monitoring and re-adjustment of the planning for the activities related to the supervised area
• Report the metrics as defined for the project
• Immediately report to the project leader if a defined target (e.g. schedule or performance) cannot be met
