SCOPE:
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing the marketing plan and priorities for the respective division. The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with the global head of sales and executive divisional leadership to articulate the value, key messages, and competitive differentiators for portfolio technologies. This role functions as a technology expert within the division, with the right candidate having the ability to translate highly technical content into effective sales and marketing pro**itions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• The Product Marketing Manager role is mid to senior level, ideal for a candidate with a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in the field
• The role is a great fit for sales engineers or technologists looking to broaden their marketing skills and help define the way our products are **itioned in the market
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required in business, marketing, sales, or engineering
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead marketing and communication activities for the division, including content development to support Customer Marketing Teams with account-based marketing (ABM)
• Interface with divisional R&D, sales, and manufacturing teams to transform technical content into compelling marketing and sales material
• Produce creative and customizable content (videos, presentations, webinars, animations, infographics, fact sheets) focused on key technologies, to drive awareness, interest, and consideration at target OEMs
• Responsibility for event planning and management to include:
o Expert congresses and vertical events
o Customer Technology Days and tradeshows
o Internal events (in-person, hybrid, remote) such as Global Leadership Meetings, Town Halls, Innovation Days
o Management of digital and physical properties (including product demos of AL&S), inventory, warehousing, and logistics
• Lead co-marketing activities with OEMs upon product launch (media day participation, dealer training, advertising, etc.)
• Work closely with the central communication team to define plan to socialize key developments, technology advancements, awards, speaking opportunities, and event participation leveraging internal and external channels
• Research, identify, and support speaking opportunities for divisional thought leaders to build brand awareness and **itioning
• Support award application processes
• Manage external vendor relationships and divisional marketing budget.
• Can include direct supervision of one or more product marketing team members.
• Work as the Marketing interface of AL&S, responsible of all marketing materials producing and activities execution.
• Other tasks temporarily assigned by Line manager.
Desired Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in the English language
• Technical aptitude and understanding of product development processes in the automotive industry is preferred
• Experience in event planning and content creation is highly desired
• Ability to conduct oneself professionally with executives, earning respect and trust
• Ability to function as strategic advisor to business leaders and functional groups
• Ability to articulate the market **ition, value pro**ition and strategic differentiators of the brand and key technologies
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work in a complex, highly technical global environment
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) familiar with sales and marketing tools (Salesforce, Pardot, Adobe Creative Cloud)
