PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
• CPEE is the Functional Project Leader (FPL) of a lamp project regarding electronics.
• CPEE is responsible as technical interface with customer electronic engineers and PCBA manufacture suppliers.
• CPEE is responsible for coordinating a cross-functional team of hardware, software, electro-mechanical and electro-validation engineers.
• CPEE is the System Engineer on Lamp Electronic Architecture level
• CPEE is the CHIEF engineer of the project from electrical technical point of view
• CPEE is responsible for the EE project management and lamp electronic application and integration.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Leading of lamp projects (Lamp, ECU, domain ECU) all EE development activities
• Setup regular meetings regarding electrical design with the customer, project manager, electrical R&D team.
• Create and take responsibility for electrical parts development schedule/planning, definition of project milestones to comply with lamp and customer schedule.
• Electronic system integration to lamp and vehicle in cooperation with the customer, lamp team and CPEM.
• Reporting: Communicate project status and escalate critical issues in a timely manner.
• Requirement management in DOORS and discussion of specifications/interfaces with stakeholders after project nominated.
• Definitions of sample versions and sample plan in agreement with the internal RD team and customer; tracking the order process for samples.
• Coordination of all necessary activities to set up and provide customer bench tests in time and with agreed functionality.
• Responsible for technical interface documents(system architect/overview, ICD).
• Review and provide production specifications for lamps addressing the end of line requirements to be performed at the plant.
• Maintain and update electrical open issues list. Tracking the Lists of Open Points (LOP with customer, internal LOP, LOP with EMS).
• Review and provide complete data packages, order specifications and data release sheets for sourcing of LED-PCBAs and LED control modules.
• Review and provide coding data parameters and data sets for application of im**ed ECUs.
• Change Management. Track and record all changes regarding electrical point of view, creation of all electrical ECRs.
• Design to cost: Monitor BOM costs of LED-PCBAs and ECU.
• Design for manufacturing: ensure that plant requirements are available and taken into account in the electronics system design (i.e. switching single light sources for calibration and EOL).
• Risk Management: Support lamp QRC process.
• Functional Safety: Support functional safety manager and functional safety expert with necessary data and information about electronic system.
• Supporting Sample Shop in lamp manufacturing plant for the build of first off tool parts, provide necessary technical information about electronics system.
• Supporting Purchasing regarding electronic sourcing processes and EMS supplier regarding EQ.
• Supporting lamp plant regarding lamp industrialization.
• Lead project team to troubleshoot and analyze the electrical issues during product life cycle
• Support ALWH plant.
• DFMEA.
