Responsibilities
• Provide effective Purchasing support for the acquisition and development of the new projects
• Target cost evaluation and definition of sourcing strategy with Magneti Marelli Commodity team
• Pro**e potential cost improvements idea
• Secure achievement of the project KPI defined in RQA phase
• Negotiation of prices, terms and conditions with suppliers for mechanical parts
• Supplier selections and contractual nomination
• Follow-up defined mechanical content until SOP
• Drive early supplier involvement in projects and align inputs with internal stakeholders

Qualifications:
• Engineering or commercial degree
• 2/3 years’ experience (automotive preferred) in purchasing of mechanical components (preferably plastic parts)
• fluent in English
• knowledge of plastic injection market
