职位描述

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
• To function as a subject matter expert with respect to quality related matters to ensure that purchased components meet Gentex expectations, serving as the primary relationship contact with respect to quality for assigned suppliers

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to ensure that purchased components meet Gentex expectations

• Confirm design for manufacturing (DFM) of purchased components
• 确认采购零件的制造可行性
• Clarify Gentex requirements and expectations, communicating those to the appropriate suppliers

• Evaluate supplier readiness to ensure capability and quality control
• 评估供应商的能力和质量控制能力
• Engage in proactive activities such as safe launch and PPAP approval per AIAG

• Ensure containment and analysis of nonconforming material
• 确保不合格品的分析和遏制
• Develop suppliers to provide timely and exceptional support

• Coordinate corrective action investigations internally and with suppliers

• Assist in-house process development and cost improvements

• Follow **ition EHS requirement. Attend EHS training timely. Attend accident investigation if required and support EHS project if needed.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage corrective action investigations in the Gentex quality tracker database
• CT+中管理纠正措施的调查
• Ensure lessons-learned drive prevention of defect/failure recurrence
• 确保收集经验教训驱动缺陷的预防和再发生的防止
• Generate and communicate supplier performance scorecards
• 供应商业绩的监控和沟通
• Identify and drive continuous improvement activities within assigned supply chain commodity
• 识别和驱动零件的持续改善
• Assess risk and validate process changes within supplier’s manufacturing process
• 供应商制造过程变更的风险和验证

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Four-year technical degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
• 四年以上机械或电子工程本科以上学历
• At least two years of relevant experience, with one year or more in quality preferred
• 至少两年以上相关工作经历，一年以上质量职能的经历优先
• Capable with various problem-solving tools, for example 8D
• 熟悉各种问题解决工具，例如8D
• Ability and willingness to travel domestic and international
• 接受出差
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and quality tools- APQP, CP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, product audit and process audit, with VDA6.3 auditor qualification or product experience of plastic parts is prefer
• 了解IATF16949体系和质量工具，包括五大手册，产品审核和过程审核相关知识，具备过程审核员资质，或注塑件产品经验优先
• Be good at English communication skills.
