• Legal Compliance:
• Stay abreast of changes in Chinese Laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
• Ensure that company policies and practices align with current legal requirements in China.
• Conduct regular legal audits to assess and mitigate compliance risks.
• Contract drafting and review and storing of all contracts in our contract management system and physical archiving responsibility for contracts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, agreements, and legal documents with headquarters support if required, but must align with headquarters.
• Leader for managing contracts throughout their lifetime.
• Provide legal guidance on contractual matters, ensuring terms and conditions follow local laws according to headquarters instructions and aligned with headquarter.
• Litigation Management:
• Manage and coordinate legal proceedings, including litigation and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel (aligned with headquarter) when necessary and represent the company's interests in legal matters.
• Regulatory Affairs:
• Work closely with regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals and licenses.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements affecting the business operations in China.
• Corporate Governance:
• Advise on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of board resolutions and documentation for corporate meetings.
• IP Rights Management:
• Protection and administration of trademarks and patents in China
• Support with the coordination, administration, management, and monitoring of the Hirschmann Automotive trademark and patent portfolio.
• Application for new IP rights in China.
• Protection of IP rights through contracts with customers and suppliers.
• Legal Research and Analysis:
• Conduct legal research on specific issues, analyze findings, and provide clear and concise summaries.
• Stay informed about industry-specific legal trends and developments.
• Training and Education:
• Conduct training sessions to educate employees on legal compliance and best practices.
• Develop and maintain a legal awareness program within the organization.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments to provide legal support for business initiatives.
• Collaborate with international legal teams to ensure consistency in legal strategies.

• Degree from a reputable law university.
• Masters - Bachelor’s degree.
• Licensed to practice law in China, key advantage.

• More than 6-8 years related working experience in legal aspects.
• Experience in a multinational company or law firm is preferred.
• Adequate experience as a legal professional with a focus on Chinese law.
• Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and employment law in China.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
